Reservations, Cancellations & Refund Policies

Reservations

A deposit of 30% is required to hold your reservation. The balance is due and must be received by Awareness Adventures by 30 calendar days prior to the first day of your retreat.

Discounts and Early Bird Specials

Guests will receive a 15% 'Early Bird Discount' if payment is made in full 90 days prior to the first day of your retreat.

Discounts are also available for families, couples and small groups.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

“Life happens” and sometimes we need to change plans.

A deposit of 30% is required to hold your reservation. The balance is due and must be received by Awareness Adventures 30 days prior to the first day of your retreat. In the case of last minute bookings, please contact us directly.

To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least 90 days prior to the first day of your retreat.
A $200 administration fee will be applied.
Cancellations 60 - 90 days prior will incur a 30% fee.
Cancellations 30 - 60 days prior will incur a 40% fee.
If you cancel within 30 days of the first day of the retreat, no refund will be made.

Your deposit can always be applied toward another event with "Awareness Adventures".

With proper notification, you can transfer payment to another retreat within the same calendar year at the ‘Early Bird' discount rate, minus minimal administrative fees. Your ability to re-book expires after one calendar year from your cancellation date.

Changes to Your Stay

No refund will be provided for early departures or late arrivals.

If a retreat is cancelled by Awareness Adventures, full deposits and all payments made to date will be refunded which shall be considered to constitute full settlement fees. Should this situation occur, guests will be allowed to reschedule for a future retreat at a discounted rate. Awareness Adventures cannot be held either liable or responsible for any additional travel expenses, incurred.

INSURANCE

Although you are in the best of hands with Awareness Adventures, unforseen circumstances can arise. It is always advisable to purchase Travel Insurance, prior to your departure. Personal traveller’s insurance is available from any reputable travel agency.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILBILITY

All participants must accept the following Terms and Conditions to register. To do so, tick box at the end.

You will also be required to sign an "Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability" form . If this form is not signed prior to the retreat, you will not be allowed to participate in the retreat and no refund will be accorded.

Travel can always involve some risk. I acknowledge that risks exist, including but not limited to, any recreational and sporting activities. I agree to assume all risk of death, injury and/or loss to myself and my personal belongings. I, alone, am responsible for my actions. Should I become ill or injured, I will bear all costs of any medical care that I might receive.

I recognize that diverse circumstances may cause me to cancel a trip. Compensation for trip cancellation due to any reason can only be claimed against my travel insurance. Awareness Adventures cannot be held either liable or responsible for any loss or damages. I understand that all baggage and personal effects are, at all times, my own personal responsibility and at my own risk. It is, therefore, advisable to purchase personal traveller’s insurance that covers loss due to such diverse circumstances.

I hereby release Awareness Adventures from any liability to myself resulting in participation in any of the programs on the retreat. The terms and conditions contained herein shall serve as a waiver of liability toward Awareness Adventures and its sole appointed agents and a full assumption of risk on my behalf.

I have carefully read all of the above contract, including the cancellation policy and insurance suggestion, and understand and agree to comply with all of its terms and conditions. I certify that I have read and understand the Awareness Adventure travel itinerary that I am joining and am physically and mentally capable of participating.
