Personal Training and Yoga Therapy

Private tuition is ideal for people requiring a program to suit their individual needs. After an assessment and discussing your personal goals, I will design a practice that is tailored for your particular needs.

Many of us have accumulated bad postural habits from hereditary factors, injuries, illness or lazy habits.

You can undo years of bad body use, by learning to re-educate the body in how to move correctly again. As you progress, a diversity of asanas, pilates exercises and breathing techniques will be added.

You will enjoy an interesting variety of moves and asana to keep your motivation going.

Personal programs are a great kick-start for beginners or those just looking for some self-discipline. People with specific injuries and health conditions will benefit from personal lessons.

If you are currently doing yoga, pilates, dance or plays ports, you will bring your practice to another level. You will gain immense value, as you fine-tune your alignment and activate the correct muscles groups.

Our muscles reflect repetitive patterns of use, dis-use or mis-use. Changes in muscle function particularly affects our postural muscles that lie deep within the body. If they weaken, other muscles will take on their role and muscle imbalances occur.

Pilates

Pilates develops 'core stability' for good posture to protect your spine. Through correct muscle recruitment and alignment, you will ensure minimal wear and tear on your joints.

Yoga asanas

Yoga asanas bring balance and unity of the mind and body systems. They restore and strengthen nerves, digestion, balance hormones, soothe the central nervous system, improve the cardio-vascular system, flush out the lymphatic system and help clear out toxins.

Private lessons are great way to learn with your partner or a friend. Partner work is fun and gives mutual support.
